Logitech Wireless Headset: works with iPad & Smartphone, but…

“just”.

The setup proceeds as described in the documentation. But if you are in a quiet office the sound level can just be usable. But, even though these are over-the-ear headphones, in a noisy dining area like the Student Union at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (my day job), it is barely audible.

I had been enjoying my previous non-BT wireless Logitech headset but its charge capacity is greatly diminished, considering its relative age (3 years old). This unit put out a decent signal and volume when used with my MacBook, I thought it was reasonable to expect the same. It seems to be have the reach it advertises but with the weak output, it hardly seems to matter if you want to “shut out the world”. The microphone does seem to “cancel noise” adequately.

Since this is just average in performance and its price leads one to expect a certain level of performance, I think that it is generous for me to give this a 7 out of 10.
